What is 3D Print LV?
3D Print LV is a custom 3D printing service that transforms your digital designs into physical parts and products. Simply upload your 3D model, tell us about your project, and we'll provide a quote for printing and shipping.
How does the ordering process work?
Our process is simple:
- Upload your 3D model and project details.
- We review the file for printability.
- You'll receive a custom quote.
- Approve the quote and submit payment.
- We print, inspect, and ship your order.
Most quotes are provided within 24 hours.
What file types do you accept?
We currently accept the following file formats:
- STL
- 3MF
- OBJ
If your file format is not listed, contact us and we'll see if we can work with it.
Do I need a 3D model before requesting a quote?
Yes. To provide an accurate quote, we need a 3D model file. If you don't have a model yet, we may be able to recommend a designer or discuss options for creating one.
How long does it take to get a quote?
Most quotes are completed within 24 hours. More complex projects, large assemblies, or high-volume production requests may require additional review time.
How long will my order take to complete?
Production times vary depending on part size, quantity, and material.
Typical turnaround times:
- Small projects: 2–5 business days
- Medium projects: 3–7 business days
- Large or complex projects: 1–2 weeks
Shipping time is additional.
Are my files kept confidential?
Yes. Files submitted through our quote system are used only to evaluate and produce your order. We do not sell, distribute, or share customer files with third parties.

Materials & Printing
What materials do you offer?
We currently offer PLA and PETG for most projects. Additional materials may be available upon request depending on your project's requirements.
Which material should I choose?
The best material depends on how your part will be used. PLA is great for prototypes, display items, and general-purpose prints. PETG offers increased durability, chemical resistance, and heat resistance for functional parts. If you're unsure, we'll gladly recommend the best option for your project.
What filament brands do you use?
We use high-quality filament from trusted manufacturers including Bambu Lab, Sunlu, Elegoo, Overture, Polymaker, and others. Material selection depends on project requirements, color availability, and intended use. If you have a preferred brand or material specification, let us know when requesting a quote.
Do you offer custom colors?
Yes. We stock a variety of popular colors and can often source specific colors upon request. Let us know your preferred color when submitting your quote request.
Are 3D printed parts strong?
Many 3D printed parts are surprisingly strong and suitable for functional use. Part strength depends on material selection, design, print orientation, wall thickness, and infill settings. We'll optimize your print settings based on your intended application whenever possible.
Will my 3D print have visible layer lines?
Yes. FDM 3D printing creates objects layer by layer, so some layer lines will be visible upon close inspection. We use optimized print settings to achieve clean, professional results while maintaining strength and reliability.
Orders & Payments
How much does 3D printing cost?
The cost of 3D printing depends on several factors, including part size, material, print time, quantity, and any special requirements. Every project is unique, so we provide custom quotes based on your specific model and needs. Submit your file through our quote form and we'll provide a detailed estimate.
When do I pay for my order?
Payment is required before production begins. Once we review your file, we'll send you a custom quote. After you approve the quote and payment is received, your order will be added to our production queue.
What payment methods do you accept?

Can I make changes after approving my quote?
Yes, changes may be possible if production has not yet started. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify your file, material, color, quantity, or shipping information. Changes may affect pricing and turnaround time.
Do you offer discounts for multiple parts?
Yes. Orders with multiple copies of the same part or larger quantities may qualify for volume discounts. If you're ordering several parts or planning a production run, let us know when requesting a quote so we can provide the most competitive pricing.
What happens if my file cannot be printed?
If we identify any issues that could affect print quality, strength, or manufacturability, we'll contact you before production begins. In many cases, minor issues can be corrected or alternative solutions can be recommended to help ensure a successful print.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. We ship orders throughout the United States. Whether you need a single prototype or a larger production run, we can deliver your parts directly to your door.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated based on package size, weight, destination, and shipping method. Your shipping cost will be included in your quote before payment is required, so you'll know the total cost upfront.
How are parts packaged?
All orders are carefully packaged to help protect parts during transit. Packaging methods vary based on the size, quantity, and fragility of the printed items to ensure they arrive safely and in good condition.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order has shipped, you'll receive tracking information so you can monitor its progress and estimated delivery date.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. Local pickup may be available for customers in the Las Vegas area. If you're interested in local pickup, please mention it when requesting your quote and we'll discuss available options.
What shipping carriers do you use?
We primarily ship using trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx. The carrier selected will depend on the size of the order, destination, and the most cost-effective shipping option available.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times vary based on your location and the shipping method selected. Most domestic orders arrive within a few business days after production is complete. Estimated delivery times will be provided when your order ships.
